Florence is a fully qualified teacher who has a passion for helping young people achieve their potential. Despite having had a challenging upbringing, Florence achieved 10 A*/A’s at GCSE, 4 A’s at A level and went on to obtain a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. Also qualifying as a life coach and fitness instructor, Florence believes that good mental and physical well-being are paramount to success so therefore works to improve these in her students during tuition sessions. She has always played an active role in supporting people in her community including mentoring and guiding young people outside the classroom, volunteering and raising money for children’s charities and helping out at her local church. Florence has tutored in GCSE and A-level Science, Primary Maths, English and Science as well as supporting students through Oxbridge and Russell group university applications, all alongside having a full time teaching job. As well as this, Florence was recognised for her work in the community and was extremely honored to carry the Olympic flame during London 2012 after taking it from triple jump silver medalist Philips Idowu. In 2009, she was also thrilled to represent the UK in Shanghai during discussions about creativity.
